Lemon Drop BTA splits today...

I went to check the tank this morning and was surprised by a Lemon Drop BTA that's in a pot. She's probably only 3"-4" big and now, I have two small ones because of the split. I'm not really sure what caused the split. Dunno if she got stressed and split to double the chances of survival. or just happy and naturally split. I did a water change two nights ago and move the pot a few inches to the right. This probably stressed it out a little causing the split. Anyway, I'm happy to have a total of 4 Lemon Drop BTA now.

Tanks New Theme: CLOWNFISH & ANEMONE TANK

so I converted my Fairy/Flasher & Anthias tank into a Clownfish & Anemone tank. I got tired of the "normal" reef and have always been fond of the clownfish/anemone relationship. I was never able to keep a nem as I was scared it will just walk off and kill some corals. I was finally able to get in touch with a local breeder that can provide me with some Picasso clownfish. this is pretty much how it got started.


I'm currently on Week 10 of the transition and things are doing well. I hope to continue to write the progress about this tank as this has been the most interesting and exciting theme I've ever set up.
